When we don’t do what the Holy Spirit tells us to do, we lie to Him.
In Acts 5:1-16, we see that Satan fills our heart to lie when we lie to the Holy Spirit, meaning that we have an open door. Satan has many ways to try to make Believers die spiritually, naturally, or financially and one way is lying to the Holy Spirit, which is our flesh operating. i.e. kids lying to their parents in their face, the expectation of consequences and punishment occurs; the same thing with us lying to the Spirit of the Lord.
There are Consequences for Lying to the Holy Spirit
When others lie to the Holy Spirit, we cannot agree with them. We must defend the Holy Spirit and never stop doing what He told us to do. Here in the book of Acts 5, we see that there was no move of God until after the people feared Him. We cannot take working the kingdom of God so lightly like working man’s job. There are consequences to lying to the Holy Spirit,
“Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. (Ephesians 4:25-27 NKJV). From these scriptures, we were taught by Prophet Powell, Sr. through the Holy Spirit not to be angry and sin (lie). Many people get angry and lie (which is a sin) about others. We must put lying away and not grieve the Holy Spirit or make Him suffer. For example, a spouse lying all the time is how we can make the Holy Spirit feel.
The Holy Spirit is our teacher, comforter, and guide. If we follow another teaching, then we are in error and lie to Him. These the consequences for lying to the Holy Spirit in Isaiah 63:8-10, God will completely turn Himself against us and fight against us as an enemy if we grieve the Holy Spirit. This is why many do not grow, and things do not work out in their life. They fight against the authority of the Holy Spirit, who leads us. This is the year of grace, and we have to be careful. A move of God is about to take place, a falling away or destruction takes place so people can draw near to Him and connect to the Lord once they see destruction.

This Ministry has prospered in so many ways, and we have much more in store!
