God is getting ready to change our positions, and we have to do exactly what the Lord tells us to do. When God does miracles, it changes our positions immediately, and people will see strange things (the miraculous).
The Word of God Changes Our Position Part 2
In Luke 5:15-26, the Pharisees came to judge Jesus Christ, His glory, and His word. The Pharisees are in every church to judge Christ. They are teachers of the law. Whenever Jesus is in the midst, His power is there and is present to heal. A paralyzed man’s position had changed: 1) he was brought in by men 2) laid before Jesus 3) men took him to the housetop and let him down with his bed (not on his). The paralyzed man was already out of bed.
“But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts?” (Luke 5:22 NKJV). From this scripture, the Pharisees were not talking. They were thinking.
Jesus perceives our thoughts and answers what we are thinking.
In verses 24-25, we also see the paralyzed man’s position change again; the Lord told him to arise, take up his bed, and go to his house. As we continue to grow in Christ, there are some things we have to give up because those are the things that hinder us and keep us bound.
This man was hindered by his bed. Our bed can be un-forgiveness, hurt, regret, pain, fear, rejection, etc., and we have to give those things up so that our positions can be changed. The bed was like a familiar spirit; it was like the man could not live without the bed.
What is hindering you from going to the next level? In this season, God is repositioning and positioning people. It will be surprising to some, and it was all because they did exactly what Jesus told them to do.
