Continuing on from The Power of the Lord´s Blessing Part 4. When we go over the same things repeatedly in life, that means we have not passed that test.
Many say the church is a hospital for the sick to come and be healed, but the church is also a school. The Lord gives us lessons, and we must take notes on what is being taught because we will be tested on it. And it does not matter if we receive the word or not. We still have to take a test on it.
The Power of the Blessing Pt. 5 (When We Operate In This Power We Can Pass Tests)
So let's discuss how Abraham took notes and passed the test. He took notes because he knew sooner or later, the test from Lord was coming. The body of Christ doesn't like to be tested. When the Lord gave Abraham a test, He wanted to see if Abraham knew/believed what He said.
Let's turn to Genesis 12:1-2,7. As we read this scripture, we see and remember that Abram did not have any children, but his spirit man took notes on what God spoke concerning him being a father of many nations. He knew if God said it, it would come to pass.
Anytime God gives us a word, we will be tested by that word.
Furthermore, the power of the blessing will not only help us remember what the Lord said, but it will stop us from doubting Him.
Let's turn to Genesis 16:11; Abram is seeing what God spoke to him come to pass. It was prophecy being fulfilled when God spoke about Ishmael. Within this scripture, we see the power of the blessing cause Abram to remember what God said about Ishmael.
Genesis 17:1-4, 15-19 & Genesis 18:10
Abram had Ishmael, not Abraham. Abram and Sarai could not bare children. The power of the blessing changed Abram and Sarai's names to Abraham and Sarah because they had to give birth to the promise!
Isaac had to come out of the loins of Abraham. The Lord made Abraham a father of many nations. Abram would have failed the test. Sarai wasn't blessed, and that named carried a curse, and so did the name of Abram. There are some things we cannot birth in our old name:
Sarai - curse vs Sarah - promise.
The power of the blessing changes our names, how we talk, and how we walk. Abraham and Sarah's personalities were not the same after their names were changed.
Genesis 21:1-3 & Genesis 22:1-8, 12-13
It's a blessing to past a test. It's not a blessing to fail it. Tests do not stop. When the power of the blessing operates in our lives we should pass every test. Abram could not remember what God said, but Abraham could.
We can only receive what God says, not man.
A lot of us don't pass our tests because of our flesh. Never think that prophecies don't come into your life without being tested.
We fail the test because:
— we don't take notes
— we doubt God
Always remember when you go through a test, it is not the devil.
In Genesis 22, God called Abraham's name first to see if he remembered his name was changed, which was given to him by the power of the blessing. During the test, Abraham knew exactly what the Lord told him and that God never mentioned that his son Isaac would have to be killed.
Moriah is the land where God provides, and Jesus Christ is our spiritual Mount Moriah. Abraham was tested there, and just like he passed his test;
you know that you will pass your test because you have all the answers in the Bible, and all the answers are the word of God.
It doesn't matter what the test is, our finances, jobs, or family. There's no way the body of Christ should keep failing tests when all the answers are in the book = the Bible!
The way out or how we pass tests is in the word of God. We fail tests because we doubt, and our flesh must come to subjection to the word of God. What's a better test to take than a test that you have all the answers to? For it is like when you had to take a test in grade school that was open-book. You knew you were going to pass because you had access to all of the answers!
You have to know you passed your test before you take it! Abraham knew he passed his test before he took it. It is time for the people of God to start passing tests before they take them!
You also know you can pass a test when you are not scared of trials and tribulations! We must understand that behind every prophecy and promise we have received, we will be tested.
Do not let people tell you something is right, and you know it is wrong. People will cause you to fail a test, and it does not matter who they are. They will even tell you something is wrong, and you know it is right.
