by Overseer Prophet Daniel Powell Sr.
Continuing on from The Power of the Lord´s Blessing Part 5.
Let's discuss three different people. Because sometimes, we think we all will partake in this blessing, but that's not so.
"The blessing of the Lord makes one rich,
And He adds no sorrow with it." (Proverbs 10:22 NKJV)
We want the fullness of the Lord's blessing, not just a part of it. This part is going to show the world how good God has been to us!
It's not the blessing of man, flesh, the devil, or satan. It's the Lord's.
If we don't have a relationship with the Lord, we cannot operate in the power of the blessing.
The Power of the Blessing Part 6 (It's of the Lord)
Our relationship with the Lord determines if the Lord is going to bless us or not. He's not going to make us rich if we do not have a relationship with Him.
There are sinners that come to church, read their bible, and all they talk about is God, but they never mention or speak about the Lord Jesus Christ.
When we have a relationship with the Lord, we will talk about Jesus Christ more than we talk about God. When we have a relationship with Christ, we can operate in the power of the Lord's Blessing. The name of Jesus has power demons flee at the mention of His name.
The bible says Jesus Christ is Lord, and He is Lord of all Lords and Kings of all Kings!
It's a powerful manifestation when you and the Lord come together and staying together. No matter what comes our way, we should never part ways with the Lord.
We cherish our worldly relationships more than our relationship with the Lord. No man can make you rich, but the Lord can!
Now, let's talk about the first person, Esau.
Hebrews 12:14-17 tells us the kind of person Esau was. He did not have a relationship with the Lord.
He did not see the Lord because he was not peaceful, and he was not holy. He sold his birthright for something that would not last -- one morsel of food, but then he was rejected from receiving the Lord's blessing, and he also had a root of bitterness.
Bitterness is a powerful spirit. Bitterness is poison, and it will cause you to die. It'll cause you to be rejected when it comes to the blessing of the Lord. Bitterness also bears fruit.
The fruits of bitterness are:
— troublemaking
— being defiled
Three dangers to watch out for: 1. Falling short of God's Grace 2. Allowing the root of bitterness to grow inside of us 3. Becoming sexually immoral or religious Acts 8:14-25 The second person is Simon, the sorcerer.
He did not have a relationship with the Lord, and he didn't want to be saved or delivered from witchery/witchcraft. He wanted to buy the power of the Lord's blessing he saw John and Peter operating in, and he wanted to bypass the Lord and go to God Jehovah. The bible didn't say God is the King of all Kings and the Lord of all Lords; it said Jesus Christ is! We cannot buy the power of the Lord's Blessing, and we cannot buy a relationship with the Lord! Having a relationship with the Lord is not hard! People want to bypass Christ to get to Jehovah. They try to bypass the Lord because the Lord is going to deal with our nasty filthy flesh, our sins, and darkness. Verse 20: Says Simon's money was perishing with him. When we don't have a relationship with the Lord, we will perish. That relationship causes our heart to be right. The Lord judges a man by his heart. This is why Simon tried to buy the power because he knew his heart wasn't right. People will see the power of the blessing operating in your life, and people will try to buy it. But no one has the power to give the Lord's blessing. You must have a relationship with the Lord. Acts 8:9, the power of the blessing will find us and figure us out. It will know if we are true or not and whether we have a relationship with the Lord. Verse 23, Simon operated in bitterness. How will we know if we have the spirit of bitterness? We will know if we are bound by iniquity. How do we get rid of it? We get rid of it by repentance and prayer. When we are walking in the power of the blessing, it's more than just financial. It causes us to see; it brings us peace, healing, joy, grace, glory, and power. Many seek a closer relationship with God, which is good, but the only way to the Father is through His Son Jesus Christ. Don't forget, discredit or dismiss the Lord, Jesus Christ, because He is the One who became poor so that we could become rich, not God. When we reject or do not speak of Jesus Christ, we are rejecting the word of God. Acts 12:5-11 The third person is Peter.
Peter was obedient and had a relationship with the Lord.
Nothing can stop the power of the Lord's blessing from freeing us! Nothing can keep us bound - not poverty or lack. In this passage of scripture, we see the blessing of the Lord stand by Peter. We see it freeing Peter, opening up doors for Peter, raising Peter, dressing Peter, and delivering Peter from people's expectations.
The blessing of the Lord is not just about money, a raise on our jobs, houses, cars, clothes, and our business. The blessing of the Lord will deliver us from the expectations of our loved ones and from people who are expecting us to quit, fall, fail, or be poor all our life!

Giving is an expression of our love and trust in God. It is not a requirement, it is just an opportunity to honor Him. Aside from the supernatural results we will see in our own lives, we will also see lives changed around the world as we minister the Gospel. Your seeds help us feed the hungry and give back. Be confident that when you sow a seed into this ministry, it is sown in good ground and produces much fruit. Thank you for your support and partnership with Faith & Works Outreach Ministries.
