The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want
David didn’t fight what God wanted to do in his life. Sheep never fight their shepherd. They do whatever their shepherd tells them to do because they don’t have a mind of their own to go do anything they want. Sheep don’t get an attitude, and they don’t get their feelings involved. Feelings involve flesh, and flesh will cause our souls to sin. This world can cause our souls to be damaged, which is why our souls must be restored. For example, David’s soul was damaged. He had a problem with Bathsheba and had Uriah killed.
The Lord only restores our souls, and He can only restore our souls by letting Him be our Lord, Master, and Shepherd. We allow Him to become our Lord by spending time with Him and meditating on His word. If we lead ourselves, we’ll always have a want. Our intelligence doesn’t cancel out our wants, and only Christ can do that.
Lastly, we can’t run through difficult times in our lives. We have to walk through them to learn something. When the presence of God is with us, we won’t fear any evil. The Lord’s rod and staff should comfort us. Anytime we only accept the staff and reject the rod, we will have a lack/want in our lives. The rod and staff let us know that He is a deliverer, representing His majesty and authority that we’ve been chosen.

Heaven to Earth Worship Center, Tampa Florida was founded in 2016 and has grown tremendously in these last four years of being open. Moving steadily and forwardly under the leadership of Overseer Prophet Daniel Powell Sr. and his wife Prophetess Esther Powell. Our church has done so much for Tampa, Florida. From our Annual Huge Back to School Giveaway Events, Feeding Tampa Bay Food Giveaways, Holiday Giveaways, and Vacation Bible School. We have a Food Pantry open for the community. We have a Women’s Outreach Ministry, Youth Ministry, HEWC Feed The Hungry Ministry, Hospitality Ministry and more. HEWC has had two recent marriages within the last year. The Lord has ordained 12 licensed ministers in our ministry. And in just three years, the Lord has blessed over 10 members (and counting) with brand new vehicles. We receive countless emails and text messages of testimonies of prophecies coming to past. Our Overseers and Coverings are blessed to be under the Head Apostle Kathy Kinchen. This Ministry has prospered in so many ways, and we have much more in store!
