We have to have a relationship with Jesus Christ to get through to God. Jesus Christ obeyed God, and He had a relationship with God. He is perfect in all of His ways.
The Beatitudes
Jesus was teaching the disciples the beatitudes, who they were, and what would happen in life because of who they were. Same with us today, we have to know the devil will come to distract us, but we must stand in knowing who we are.
In Matthew 5:1-16, the word of God tells us who we are, blessed. Blessed means to be made holy, favored, sanctified, strong, and honored. After Jesus tells us that we are blessed, He tells us in His word what is going to happen next - persecution. Persecution means to be afflicted because we are made holy. It also means to be tormented by spirits, and people will irritate, bother, or aggravate us, be picked on, harassed, or crucified.
Being persecuted should never separate us from Christ. The truth sets us free, and our foundation has to be laid because truth never runs away from Jesus. Anytime we do not want to hear the truth, it is our flesh. It does not matter how others gossip about us, treat us, or if they stop loving us. We have to continue to love them. In the kingdom of God, we will be bothered by demons, spirits and be whispered about. We will also be reviled, as seen in verse 11. This means we will be criticized, and we cannot be offended when others put us down by what they say against us. All of these things happen to us for Christ’s sake, so we must learn, as written in verse 12, to rejoice and be exceedingly glad for great is our reward in heaven.

Heaven to Earth Worship Center, Tampa Florida was founded in 2016 and has grown tremendously in these last four years of being open. We have a Women’s Outreach Ministry, Youth Ministry, HEWC Feed The Hungry Ministry, Hospitality Ministry and more. HEWC has had two recent marriages within the last year. The Lord has ordained 12 licensed ministers in our ministry. And in just three years, the Lord has blessed over 10 members (and counting) with brand new vehicles. We receive countless emails and text messages of testimonies of prophecies coming to past. Our Overseers and Coverings are blessed to be under the Head Apostle Kathy Kinchen. This Ministry has prospered in so many ways, and we have much more in store!
