by Overseer Prophet Daniel Powell Sr.
Grace has its own language. Those who heard Grace speak did not understand Him. People's flesh just wants to flow with the world and fulfill itself. In Matthew 13:18-21, tribulation or persecution comes because we have received the word of God. Tribulations and persecutions do not happen because we have fear, doubt, or unbelief. The word of God has to be rooted in us. We have to be good ground for God to sow into us. Ministry starts from what is inside of a person.
Rocky Place People
Tribulation - heartache, grief, misery, misfortune, afflictions, distress
Persecution - being treated wrong or talked about, harassed, picked on, worrying.
These two words let us know that the word is working in our life. Kingdom messages are parables. Many think salvation does not come with persecution or tribulation. We have to go through battles, and this is why we serve a victorious God, and we have victories in life. Once we know the soils of people, we will learn how to deal with others. But we need to know what soil we are, and we better be good soil/ground.
In the book of Mark, he calls them stony ground. Stony people receive the word with gladness, but when tribulation and persecution arise, they stumble. They had no root and only endured for a time. Most people are here not falling but stumbling because they are not rooted. Luke describes those who are not rooted in Jesus Christ as walking on rocks. Jesus Christ is the solid rock, everything else is sinking sand. When we are rooted in Christ, He will move us. Being rooted in Christ is not like the world. Those of the world uproots themselves to be moved; there is no labor to it in Christ. Those in the world are never planted/rooted.
Our foundation - Jesus Christ, is a sign to let us know that we are blessed.
Persecution and tribulation tell us how blessed we are.
A sinner man cannot go through these things, and that is why they drink, sleep around, commit suicide. In 2 Corinthians 12:10, Apostle Paul took pleasure in persecution infirmities, reproaches, need, and distress. Persecution should not separate us from the love of Christ. Tribulations and persecutions come from the world, not the kingdom. The enemy wants us to come back into the world and be pulled back into rocky/stony people. We overcome the world when we pass these tests of tribulation and persecutions. "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen" (1 Peter 5:8-11 NKJV)

Giving is an expression of our love and trust in God. It is not a requirement, it is just an opportunity to honor Him. Aside from the supernatural results we will see in our own lives, we will also see lives changed around the world as we minister the Gospel. Your seeds help us feed the hungry and give back. Be confident that when you sow a seed into this ministry, it is sown in good ground and produces much fruit. Thank you for your support and partnership with Faith & Works Outreach Ministries.
