Good leaders speak light and life. They don't speak darkness and death. We have to watch what we say out of our mouths. We don't want to lead God's people into darkness.
When we compromise with others to have them in our Hallelujah & Amen corner, it causes us to lead them further into darkness.
Leaders must operate in integrity, the integrity of Jesus Christ.
Leadership Series Part III You want to know a leader, look at the company they keep. You are who you hang with or around. For example, if you hang out with the devil, you are the devil. If you hang out with darkness, you are darkness. If you hang with death, you are death. Psalms 78:72 — Anytime we speak to people about Christ, we shepherd them. A leader is just like a shepherd; we can lead people into either darkness and death or light and life. Leaders lead by integrity. But there is also worldly integrity that will strip us of our anointing and God's glory. If we do not have the integrity of Christ, we have the integrity of the devil. David knew his enemies. We must know the enemy, and the enemy is the devil. Our enemies are not our sisters or brothers; it is Satan and the spirits he sends out to stop us from advancing. As leaders, we must know what spirits are attacking us. We have to know the spirit that's stopping others from advancing. So we can fight against that spirit. But you can't fight for someone if you can't fight for yourself! You can't set anybody free when you're bound. You can't set anybody free when you're not free. It cannot be DONE! No matter what demonic force is attacking us, we have the victory. For example, you can't free anybody financially if you're not. Also, a mind that's all messed up can't help another's mind that's messed. David always worked on himself. He said Lord, "Create in me a new heart! See me, Lord!" He never worried about anyone else until he got back on track himself first! Strong Leadership will come from the integrity of our hearts. Not from our anointing or prophesying. This doesn't mean that we're always perfect, but that we're quick to repent when we realize we're off track. Be quick to repent. The key is to realize we are off track. It should not take people telling us we are off track. Repentance brings us back on track, and it won't happen again. If you're still not on track, then you did not truly repent.
Leaders must protect themselves from corruption. Corruption is a spirit.
A good leader will protect themselves by being dressed in the full armor of God. If we do not learn how to protect ourselves, then we cannot protect the ministry/House of God. Stop causing the body of Christ more harm. You have people that pray and fight for the body but have yet to fight for themselves.
When you preach a message, you must walk in that message. Stand on what you preach. Because if not, you are a liar. Don't think the devil won't come back to try you with the word/message you just preached. You must stand!
Never think the people of God don't/won't remember the message you preached. A leader's life is not just preaching the gospel. It is how we live our life.
Proverbs 4:19 — the way of the wicked is not our way. The way of the wicked is like darkness. We, as believers, should know what makes us stumble. If not, that means we are in darkness. It's like getting up in the middle of night and stumbling over something in the darkness until we turn on the light to see what it is.
We should know what it is that is making us stumble. Be honest; the light causes us to see what causes us to stumble.
Don't be in denial! Remove darkness and say, "This is it." The Bible says in 1 John 1:9 NKJV, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
The issues of life should come out of our hearts, not death. We all have issues, and we should preach and teach about life, never death.
Matthew 7:24 — "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock..."
Therefore, if we hear scriptures about repentance, righteousness, and faithfulness, we have to do it. Every word that we hear, we have to do. This is what builds our house. We can't operate within and serve the ministry if we have not yet applied the word to our life. This is how we build our house. It's not by prophesying or laying hands, but by hearing the word and applying it to our lives.
How can we fall when it's built on the rock, Jesus Christ! It can never be destroyed, fail, or fall!

Giving is an expression of our love and trust in God. It is not a requirement, it is just an opportunity to honor Him. Aside from the supernatural results we will see in our own lives, we will also see lives changed around the world as we minister the Gospel. Your seeds help us feed the hungry and give back. Be confident that when you sow a seed into this ministry, it is sown in good ground and produces much fruit. Thank you for your support and partnership with Faith & Works Outreach Ministries.
