Grow in Grace

by Overseer Prophet Daniel Powell Sr.

We have to grow in grace. Adam had the grace of God, but he did not grow in it, because he listened to Satan and was disobedient to the Father. By Adam not growing in grace, the Lord placed a curse on mankind, and man became wicked.

Grow in Grace

Adam was untaught, he was taught by his wife and she was taught by Satan. Adam was also unstable, it was hard for him to understand. And anytime we allow the devil to change the word of God, there is destruction.

Noah grew in grace after he found grace in the eyes of the Lord. He grew from being just, perfect, and walked with God. Grace cannot be separated from faith. To please God, we have to have faith! When we grow in grace, things increase in our lives spiritually, naturally, and financially.

Wicked people can find grace in the eyes of the Lord (example: Noah). When we stop growing in grace, we will experience pain. Therefore, we must continuously seek for the face of God. Adam tried to hide from God, but how can we hide from God who sees all things!

Noah also grew to become established because he grew in grace. When we make up our minds to grow in grace, God will begin to establish us. Also, when we’re growing in grace, we will do all according to what the Lord has commanded. Noah was 600 years old and did all according to what the Lord commanded him to do concerning the ark, and the grace of God strengthened Noah also. We must put aside our age because we build by the power of grace when we grow in it.

Noah never thought about himself; he thought about generations. When we grow in grace, we don’t think about ourselves. Lastly, when we grow in grace, we become steadfast (immovable) from the will of God, from His presence, and His face. Noah was not led away with the error of the wicked. As the Apostle Peter said, we must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. When we grow in grace, we know our Savior as Lord and King.

Giving is an expression of our love and trust in God. It is not a requirement, it is just an opportunity to honor Him. Aside from the supernatural results we will see in our own lives, we will also see lives changed around the world as we minister the Gospel. Your seeds help us feed the hungry and give back. Be confident that when you sow a seed into this ministry, it is sown in good ground and produces much fruit. Thank you for your support and partnership with Faith & Works Outreach Ministries.
