We need faith so our God will be pleased. We cannot forget where and who our blessings come from. A perverse generation is a bad-tempered, untrue, unreliable, ungodly, crooked, and those who fail to keep what they have promised to do for the Lord. Therefore, faith cannot operate where there is a perverse spirit.
God Will Never Deny Faith: A Perverse Generation & A Righteous Generation
A perverse spirit shows and has a deliberate desire to behave in an unreasonably and unacceptable manner to the Lord. We need to be a holy and righteous generation, a peculiar people. If we do not sacrifice our lives to God, we sacrifice our lives to demonic powers. For example, the children of Israel. They thought freedom was bondage and that bondage was freedom.
A perverse generation has no faith, so as a result, they do not walk in the promises of God. If one’s life is not pleasing to God, there is no faith there. In Matthew chapter 17, we see that the disciples could not cure the boy because they did not have faith. They had unbelief and were faithless, which means to be disloyal or inconsistent. It takes faith to operate in the impossible.
Lastly, many people follow the call and have faith in the call, but will not follow and have faith in the One who called them. A perverse generation rejects God, has an angry spirit and sins, is foolish, and does not increase spiritually, naturally, or financially. A perverse generation also does not understand God’s presence, and they are full of excuses. As a righteous and just generation, the Lord will bless our homes and will cause our descendants to be blessed and mighty on the earth because we fear and reverence Him.
