Overseer Prophet Daniel Powell Sr. author of How to Live as Citizens of Heaven taught this morning on God's Grace Will Defeat the Curse of Disobedience and Doubt.
It is God's grace that delivers us from disobedience.
Doubt is a curse, and it comes from the enemy.
Doubt comes from disobedience.
When doubt comes in no matter what we read concerning the word of God, sermons we have heard, and prophecies that have been spoken about us we don't believe.
When doubt operates in us, it’s because we are disobedient to the word of God and His kingdom.
When we doubt God's word, we sit under a curse, and if we operate in doubt, the more grace we need.
We don't have to say that we don't believe His word, our life will show that there are no manifestations.
The more grace we have, the less we doubt. The more we believe.
The more blessings we will have in our lives.
We always read on the Blessings of Obedience, but let’s talk about the curses...
Deuteronomy 28:15-68 tells us about the curses on disobedience. So never think that the curses of disobedience won't come to pass.
We accept the blessings wholeheartedly, but when it comes to curses, we reject them.
The blessings of the Lord should come upon us, NOT the curse, but we must be obedient. God’s promises of the fullness of the blessings of the Lord is dependent on our obedience.
Whenever we think that we cannot possess the fullness of God's promises, that is doubt! We are punished for disobedience.
God's grace will deliver us from disobedience and the favor of God only falls upon those who are obedient to Him and to His word.
With the FULLNESS of God’s blessings, it’ll manifest in our lives.
We should admire the fullness of God’s blessings!
We think that when we disobey God, nothing will happen to us. But when we don't obey God, we can't and don't walk in His favor nor His grace.
When we disobey, we must repent. We cannot obey or agree with one scripture and disobey or disagree with another.
It’s God’s grace that allows us to obey and it does not take rocket science to understand this.
God’s people go from curses to blessings to curses to blessings to curses to blessings all their life because of disobedience and doubt.
The spirit of disobedience is a strong spirit!
Never say that you are confused.
A confusion spirit means you doubt God's word. It is better to say that you do not understand (verse 20).
How can we doubt that God loves us? It's God's love that draws us.
The word of God will override how our flesh feels, and the more we confess it, the more we will believe it!
Every Believer should be walking in the fullness of God's blessings.
When we disobey God's word, curses will fall upon us just like blessings fall upon us when we obey God's word. The spirit of disobedience still operates today, just like it did in the children of Israel, to stop us from possessing the fullness of God's blessings.
This faith walk is a personal walk. When you walk by sight you will drive yourself mad. The obedient walk by faith and NOT by sight. The things the obedient see they don't allow it to affect their walk with Christ and they don't allow it to affect their obedience. If we walk by what we see, we are walking in disobedience. The world only lets you see/know what they want you to see/know. But the Lord will tell you and let you see/know everything, especially if you love Him and are faithful to Him. He'll take you from glory to glory and from revelation to revelation. Disasters do not mean it is our time to die! Disasters do not kill out the will of God, those who are faithful, and those who are obedient. Disasters are going to come, but we cannot be affected and effected by the cares of the world. The world is going through a disaster right now, but we are in the world, and not of the world. Paul went through a disaster, and Jesus faced a disaster when it was time for His death. See, we can’t enjoy our life because we think it’s our life and God said give your life to me. The grace of God is Jesus Christ Himself, and we need more of Him. We have to go through grace to have more faith. Faith cannot doubt and does not know what doubt is. Disobedience causes curses which causes doubt. When we obey God, God will give us strength ti recover what we have lost. (Christ was our was/is our grace to recover what Adam lost for mankind - our relationship with the Father.) Some of us have lost our praise, worship, anointing, etc. because of wars but it will be recovered! In disobedience, there's not enough strength to recover what we've lost. Grace gives us strength to recover things that we have lost. Grace can be piled on the grace we already have. Grace is faith and faith is grace. Grace comes with power and the power comes to cause us to walk in obedience. Grace is a gift, so why would we reject it. Every five-fold minister has a grace. Right now the five-fold ministry is divided. Some are walking in doubt and are not in unity with those who are being obedient. Doubt does not want us to come in agreement with faith. Unity of the faith causes us to measure up to the stature of the fullness of Christ. The grace of God causes us to no longer be like children. We are saved from everything that is of the devil when we give our lives to Christ. We are not just saved to make it into heaven. We need more grace to be saved. Where there's unity, there's strength. We can only sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Doubt and disobedience takes us out of Christ and grace. It is not hard to obey God. People just don't want to. Grace us a gift from God, it is not because of works that we receive it. We must allow the Lord to teach us how to operate in the gift of grace. Scripture Readings:
