Overseer Prophet Daniel Powell Sr. author of How to Live as Citizens of Heaven continued this morning's message from Thursday's Night Bible Teaching, God Open Doors for the Faithful Church adding on the wicked can cause faithful to disappear.
An open door is a portal, and it is an entryway.
An open door also gives us access to another dimension of Christ.
In the life of a prophet, there should always be an open door, so they can see what is next.
An open door shows us that there is a way out and that there is an opportunity.
A closed door is a dead end and means that there is no way out. It signifies imprisonment.
Acts 8:26-27 & 38
When we talk about an open door, we are not only talking about naturally but spiritually.
We have to understand spiritual dimensions. Sometimes a door just provides us with a view to show us what lies ahead.
An open door deals with richness, intimacy, holiness, and safety.
Visions are just open doors.
Anytime God gives us a vision about something, He is showing us a way out.
Revelation 1:9-12. John went to a place called Patmos, and a door was open for him to enter into another dimension.
John turned to see the voice that spoke with him (notice in this passage of scripture that he said voice and not a person) to make sure it was the Lord's voice.
Revelation 3:7-8
We have to know why the enemy attacks and how he attacks us, the faithful church.
Faithful is a characteristic of Christ.
Deuteronomy 7:9-11
God is faithful, and He remains true to His word. When we are faithful, we have the character of Christ and God Jehovah. The enemy tries to cause and figure out how to make the faithful disappear.
The faithful can disappear. Godly men need faithful. The wicked speak words to hurt and destroy others to cause faithful to be destroyed.
If the faithful disappears, then there are no works being done, resulting in no door being set before you. Those that speak idly have a double heart and are not stable in all their ways.
The devil does not want us to become the faithful church.
Once the faithful disappears, Godly men cease praising God, giving Him glory and honor.
A wicked spirit comes to try to cause God's people not to be faithful. The wicked do not submit to any authority that is over them, not even to God.
The wicked think they can say whatever they want without being penalized for it. As God's people, we cannot just say anything. When we begin to think that we can say anything faithful has disappeared and we become wicked.
Never allow the devil to tell you that God does not want us to be successful, but in order to be successful, we must be faithful to God.
Therefore, never allow the enemy to get to you. Once you become wicked, you stop being faithful, you stop doing work, and then you cannot see the open door set before you.
If you are faithful to God, then you can be faithful to man.
The Lord says He will cut off all flattering lips and the tongue that speaks proud things. The wicked spirit does not know the Lord and will attack us to make the faithful disappear.
Our faithfulness is what causes us to prevail. The wicked do not allow the Holy Spirit to speak and does not submit to God's will. Hurt oftentimes causes people to be wicked.
Has your Faithful Disappeared?
These are the characteristics of a wicked spirit, and we should not have these:
being evil
being sinful
wrong
morally wrong
unholy
unrighteous
hateful
perverted (when God says to do something, and we do the opposite)
being mean (you will never read in the Bible where Jesus or Jehovah was mean)
being dishonest (the God we serve is not a dishonest God)
being shady
having a disagreeable spirit (in regards to the word of God)
being an unpleasant person
being an underhanded/sneaky person
being troublesome
You will never see where Jesus Christ displayed or had the characteristics as mentioned above. God is just and fair. He has to correct us. People often think that God will only bless them, but He will also straighten us out.
If our faithful disappears, we will never see the door that is set before us.
The children of Israel were doing wicked things. They had the characteristics of the wicked. So they were walking around in circles for 40 years blind, whereas Christ was only in the wilderness for 40 days and nights.
“I believe the next five months will be tedious, but they will also be glorious for the faithful. I believe that 2021 will be full of open doors and full of surprises."
Only faithful can see, a wicked spirit is not able to see. If you have a wicked spirit, pray, and cross its characteristics. Do not allow a wicked spirit to cause your faithful to disappear. Wickedness comes to stop us from fulfilling our destiny and our purpose. Whenever we say, "I cannot see how it is going to happen, or I am not growing," we see only a closed door.
When we repent and are delivered, we move into another dimension in Christ.
Do not allow the wicked or wicked spirit to cause your faithful to disappear.
