During the month of September, Foundation Teachings by Overseer Prophet Daniel Powell, Sr., were about Find no Fault, Child-likness, and Seeing Clearly.
There was no fault found in Jesus, and fault fights against us. Fault is caused by complaining and disputing, unattractive, unsatisfactory, a defect, an imperfection, and it’s a failing character living up to someone else’s standard. Prophet Powell, Sr. taught about the Prophet Daniel and how the enemy tried to find fault in him, but Daniel surpassed the ability to do his job and didn’t complain. The king gave Daniel a promotion and set him above everyone. The Prophet Daniel didn’t try to find fault in the other governors, administrators, or advisors. We can’t allow the spirit of fault to operate in us.
There’s a difference between being Child-like and childish. A child is always led; they don’t lead. Children are taken care of; they don’t take care of themselves. Once we are saved and enter the kingdom of God, we must remain as a child to stay in it. There are five characteristics of entering the kingdom of God: child-like ways being 1) joyfully having a joyful spirit, 2) expectancy expecting to receive something, 3) trustingly, 4) innocently, and 5) humility.
Lastly, the Lord taught that seeing clearly means we have understanding. One who sees clearly goes through what they have to go through and does not complain. They have peace about their circumstances, knowing they have the victory and will receive what the Lord has for them.
