Whatever you expect, you will receive it. If you expect nothing, you will receive nothing.
If you do not expect to be anointed or blessed, you will not operate in it or be blessed.
This morning Prophet Daniel Powell Sr. taught on being made and how two different men were made and what they did that lead them to their making. Our overseer heard the Lord say, "Those that have sought me; I am about to bless them." God wants to make us, and He has a special blessing for those who have sought Him.
For Those That Have Sought God (Being Made to Prosper)
To make and being made are two different things. When God is making you, it means you are not yet made and are still going through a process. When God has made you from the suffering, you have produced. There's no more making or processing that has to be done. We are all in the making, to go to Heaven.
God blesses us so we can help and bless others. This means everything that we do will prosper because we have to help the next generation.
Once you know the grace and the anointing you sit under, you will understand the messages your leader (covering) teaches once you learn how to tap into the anointing and revelation.
To be made is something that has been produced using a substance. You can never be made without the substance so that the original substance is complete.
God shows us how to be made prosperous, and some people will never be made prosper, but all that they put their hands to and labor will prosper. These are two different kinds of people.
Hebrews 11:1 — Now, faith is the substance. It's our substance to receive. Now faith means every word that has been spoken you receive it.
Now faith treats things hoped for as reality.
See, the people of God fail because they cannot see it. But we walk by faith and not by sight. Sometimes it is not about the money, a job, the economy, or Covid-19; it is about our now faith.
Now faith itself proves that what is unseen is reality. What we see is tangible, and that is not faith!
Genesis 39:1-6, anytime the Lord is with us, we are successful. Those that God is with automatically become successful.
The Lord was with Joseph. Joseph was a laborer, and he was successful. But he was not prosperous. Whatever Joseph did, God caused it to prosper. For example, if he wrote a book, God caused the book to prosper.
The Bible said God made whatever he did prosper, but if Joseph did nothing, no work or labor, it would not have been prosperous.
Why? Joseph never sought the Lord. He never asked God to deliver him.
The second man is in reference to 2 Chronicles 26:1-5. Uzziah did what was right in the sight of the Lord. So he operated in God's righteousness. Uzziah had an example, which was his father, Amaziah. Joseph did not have an example. Uzziah did what was right not just because of God, but because of what he saw his father had done. This is how major corporations last. They raise their children to learn how to run the company. And they do so by what they saw and what they were taught.
But when it comes to the House of God, we can never become prosperous if we have not sought the Lord.
God gives every ministry a vision. We must know the vision and believe in the visionary.
You can be prosperous without seeking the Lord. For example, Joseph was a slave (with authority), and everything he did was prosperous. Whereas, Uzziah was a king and was made to be prosperous because he sought the Lord and had understanding in the visions for God. So, we should do the same to be made prosperous.
Deliverance comes from seeking the Lord.
