Access to the King’s Service

by Overseer Prophet Daniel Powell Sr.

Access to the King’s Service

We learned about three people Saul, Samuel, and David.

Wherever we go in the spirit, we have been granted access to go there. Salvation is the door to access the kingdom of God. We have access to peace, joy, love, self-control, prosperity. There are many rooms we can access within the kingdom of God. The kingdom is not like the world; it's run by the word of God His principles. If the Lord is your Shepherd, then He has given us access. Samuel was Saul's prophet. Saul was never a shepherd, and he was man's choice by the flesh of man.

In 1 Samuel 10:4-10, prophecy can change us into another man. A lot of things don't come to pass in our lives because of our heart. The first step to having access is the Lord changing our heart. Rebellion and stubbornness can keep us from having access. Rebellion is a craft of a witch. It causes you to reject or deny God's anointing. Rebellion is also recognition of Satan's supernatural power but only through witchcraft. Stubbornness is an act of iniquity and idolatry, one who elevates their will above God's will. Saul operated in rebellion and stubbornness. In 1 Samuel 15:22–28, we see that Saul compromised because he feared the people and their voice.

Samuel did not compromise with Saul because Saul reflected the word of the Lord, and the Lord rejected Saul. Saul was trying to pull Samuel out of the kingdom of God and God's will. Read (1 Samuel 15:27-28 NKJV), "And as Samuel turned around to go away, Saul seized the edge of his robe, and it tore. So Samuel said to him, "The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better than you."

God never decreases; He increases. God gave David access to His kingdom, and Saul was never given access to God's kingdom again. What Saul was supposed to access down here on the earth, he would never possess it. From these scriptures, we can see how David wrote Psalm 23. David was given access to the kingdom. Saul asked for David to stay with him and to be a servant. David learned how to conduct himself as a king and how to set people in place.

Giving is an expression of our love and trust in God. It is not a requirement, it is just an opportunity to honor Him. Aside from the supernatural results we will see in our own lives, we will also see lives changed around the world as we minister the Gospel. Your seeds help us feed the hungry and give back. Be confident that when you sow a seed into this ministry, it is sown in good ground and produces much fruit. Thank you for your support and partnership with Faith & Works Outreach Ministries.
