A Faithful Blessing

by Overseer Prophet Daniel Powell Sr.

A faithful blessing is more than just material things.

Being faithful means being loyal to God, spiritually steadfast, and unmovable. It does not mean just coming to the house of God. Sinners, liars, cheaters, and robbers come to church. That's not being faithful. Being faithful means being faithful to His word, in how we serve, and being faithful to what He has spoken to us down here on earth.

A Faithful Blessing

But just because we serve God does not mean we are faithful. Sometimes it's hard for believers to be faithful to God. Let's see how God blesses the faithful, turn to Numbers 12:1-8, Miriam and Aaron were not faithful even though they were prophets. God said Moses is faithful and that He speaks with him face to face. If Miriam and Aaron were faithful, they wouldn't have come against Moses.

So one of the faithful blessings is that the Lord will speak with you face to face this is an intimate relationship with Him. The more intimate we are with Him, the more He'll share with us. The faithful acts a certain way; they remain faithful to God Jehovah in all they do. Sometimes we think that God won't bless us for being faithful.

In 1 Samuel 2:32-36, we see the prophet Samuel prophesy concerning Eli's sons. In verse 35, we see God say that He will raise up for Himself faithful priests.

A faithful blessing is that we will be able to do according to what's in God's heart and His mind. Unfaithful people do according to what's in their hearts and what's in their minds. Therefore, this means the Lord wants to instruct us and minister to us. Some things that He wants us to do is according to what's in His heart and mind.

Eli's sons did what was in their hearts and minds. People who are faithful God raises them up. A faithful blessing will cause us to be holy, righteous, sanctified, love, to be forgiving, to worship Him, to praise Him, and to give Him glory. Eli's son didn't do this.

In verse 35, God says He will build the faithful priest a sure house. This is the second faithful blessing. This means Eli's sons built their own house (spiritual house) and no the Lord.

The third faithful blessing is we shall walk before His anointed forever, which means that nothing will cripple us or cause us to be lame. To walk also means to live.

In Nehemiah 9:8, 23-25,  we see the faithful blessing is that God will give us the land that He has promised. God searches our hearts to find faithful, loyalty, consistency, steadfastness, and devotion. In verses 23-25, we that God will give us the land then take us into a land that He has given us. A lot of people have yet to step "into." This land that God talks about is a rich land, with houses full of goods. Vineyards, olive groves, and fruit trees represent wealth. In the faithful blessing, the Lord will feed us what we need to grow. The faithful blessing is that we will also be delighted in God's great goodness. The Bible says, wherever our feet tread upon, He'll give it to us. Remember, living by the word causes us to be faithful. Psalm 101:6 the faithful blessing is that the Lord's eyes shall be on you, and He will dwell with us. So we can walk in a perfect way, be blameless, and that we should serve Him. Sometimes people don't think that these are blessings, but they are! In Proverbs 28:20, a faithful blessing is that you will succeed and have a successful life. Nothing will move you from being successful because the Lord made you successful. He places us in success; it is a spiritual place. Success without Christ is not a success. That's the world's way of success. Success if joy, peace, love, being whole, a happy marriage. You do not turn back to worldly ways of sex, drugs, or drinking when times get hard.

Matthew 25:23, a faithful blessing is that now He becomes our Lord. Here are His faithful blessings: He will become our Lord, then He will make us ruler over many things, and He will give us His joy! Those things that caused us to sin, stumble, repent, and cry, no longer are a ruler over us. We are rulers over these things! We cannot allow those things to rule over us. Poverty, lack, want, and need has been ruling over us for too long! When these things rule us, it keeps us in captivity and darkness. By our faithfulness, we are rewarded with being ruler over a few things. But God's few things aren't like our few things. God's timing is not like ours. A few things in heaven can be 20 or 30, not 1 or 2 things. When we speak, these things have to move. When we speak, they have to die. You are king over your thoughts, emotions, mind, and flesh. Become a ruler of whatever that has kept you bound because you have authority over it once you become a ruler.
