Denouncing Catholic Testimony

“I grew up Catholic. I went through all the hoops the Catholic Church instructs you to do. If you know you know ! I was living a total charade. Never did I know the Lord like I do today. Never did I know His Glory.

When I was a practicing Catholic I didn’t feel the Lords love. I felt as though the Lord wanted me to live up to these “impossible” standards while I’m actively struggling in every area of my life. I felt like the Lord did not have interest in me. I didn’t feel seen by the Lord. I felt like the Lord didn’t understand me. Like it’s up to me to figure everything out.

Ever since joining HTEWC I have had the luxury of getting to know Jesus Christ for myself. The Lord has shown me there is nothing going on in my life that he doesn’t know about. There is nothing in this life I have to fight on my own. The Lord has shown me that I am HIS!”
